Ernie's Roadhouse: A Must-Visit Destination for Comfort Food and Brunch in Cambridge

We went for Father’s Day brunch. It was all you can eat buffet and all you can drink mimosas, Cesar’s, juice. The food was all hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! My favourite was the apple cinnamon bread pudding... yum!! There was a ton of variety for savoury and sweet dishes. Our server Mya was friendly and quick. Our booth was in the indoor part but we loved the vibe of the whole restaurant and it looks like there’s a back indoor room with open air option too. There’s a small front patio on Queen. We definitely plan to go back!!

We came to check out the hype here at Ernie's and it did not disappoint. Melinda was our server and we also got to try her dessert which was absolutely phenomenal, we all tried it and it's a 10 out of 10. Reese's peanut butter cheesecake!!! Between us we ordered a Smashburger pulled pork sandwich the Ernie's Burger the mac and cheese and the kids chicken tenders, everybody is raving about the food and how full they are. Everything was hot, fresh had a great taste and only 20 minutes wait from order to the table. This is definitely somewhere we'll come back again and again!

Low key. Comfy. Unassuming. Food is great. Portions are delicious and large. Right around the corner from our home and my go-to. Nice views, friendly owners. Great staff. Stop in! They have live music often! Amazing! Thanks for always being gracious and lovely!

We went for Brunch, it was a really great spread with really great food, and the price being inclusive of bottomless mimosas was more than worth it! Only slight note is that the menu mentioned that more lunch style dishes would be added to the brunch service at noon, but everything seemed to stay the same. All in all that was super minor. Everything was great and we will for sure be returning!

Highly recommend the Monday Night Ernie’s burger special, the chicken tenders are fabulous and coconut cream pie is delicious! Another Update: AMAZING burger during their Monday special. Cinnamon scones and donuts- yum! One of the best Caesars I’ve had (watch the spicy green bean) and fresh mimosas...highly recommend Ernie’s for Sunday Brunch. Very reasonable. Suggest you follow Ernie’s on Facebook to keep up with their daily specials. When we learned this Monday was their burger special, we were looking forward to trying their Ernie’s cheeseburger with the melted cheese ring. It didn’t disappoint! Great that it came with a choice of fries, salad or daily soup as a side. Burger was great. Fries would have been better had they been extra crispy. Side salad was very good. A surprise birthday treat was provided to our friend we were celebrating- it was a delicious butter tart. Their other desserts looked amazing. Understand their brunch is very good too, but check if reservations are required. Their balcony seating overlooks the river and will be lovely in the warm weather.

I ordered the Ernie burger, and it was absolutely fantastic. The servers are very polite. Service was pretty fast, considering how busy it was. No annoying music playing, just the chit-chat of others giving the place a real authenticity that isn't as common. I absolutely loved it, I'd come back again anytime I'm back in Cambridge.

Perfect place for social or family event We recently had family celebration hosted at Ernie's and I'm beyond pleased with service and food they provided. Very nice atmosphere, staff was friendly and professional, food was great, bakery and cake/ cookie decor was top notch. Management very easy to communicate with, prompt and flexible. Highly recommend Ernie's. We will be back soon again.

Have you ever wanted to try this place? I waited three months. I cannot tell you how worth the wait was. From the very beginning to the very end I have to say was a FANTASTIC experience. The decor was stunning I loved it. The people working there always had a smile on greeted us with such happiness and perfect smiles. It was Sunday the worst snowstorm of family day long weekend 2025 10am. If I could only remember our servers name (look at my name you’ll know who it was) I can’t tell you enough good things about this individual they gave us the best service we have experienced in a super long time and we go out a lot. They all joined together and cleaned tables like champs and team players which I throughly enjoyed watching whom ever built this team is good. Everyone worked so hard here that morning and made it into work and still had smiles. The food was hot so good and very plentiful. I will definitely be returning in the up coming months especially in the summer those garage doors that open are very intriguing since I love the outdoors. Thank you for everything you guys did on Sunday it was a great time but definitely not our last. Keep on going the ratings will go up. You DID AN AMAZING JOB SUNDAY!!!!
